We offer custom bent parts for furniture such as round table skirting, table legs, 22" radius chair backs and Queen Ann chair backs. They can be ordered in various hardwood species in clear, rustic, rough sawn and circle sawn grades.

Vintage Transportation

We offer parts used in the production and reproduction of horse drawn vehichles.

As mentioned in our company history, it all started with the horse drawn carriage industry and we still specialize in this field, manufacturing wooden shafts, wooden cart fenders, hook & sword end single trees etc. We also provide wooden parts for carriage, wagon, cannon, and automobile wheels, primarly the felloes (rims) and spokes.

Agriculture Needs

Whether you need plow handles to restore an old farm implement or a shephards staff for the christmas display, we have you covered!

We provide the industry with plow and cultivator handles, ox yoke bows, hames bows for work horse harnesses and walking canes for cattle guides. Our canes have the option of laser engraved personalization!

Commemorating History

Let us help you preserve the culture of days gone by with our authenticly repoduced felloes and spokes.  

At Shirk's Woodbending we have the ability to produce wooden wheel felloes used by wheelwrights in the restoration of carriages, covered wagons, and cannons, from a small 10" diameter to a large 60" diameter wheel with a depth of 3 1/4" and 9" wide! We also reproduce wooden spokes on our Bacci  carving machine using your orginal sample or one of our many templates!

And the work of the wheels was like the work of a chariot wheel: their axletrees, and their naves, and their felloes, and their spokes, were all molten.
